Kim Pinyopusarerk, sustainability and communications manager at Callon Petroleum, is today's featured Forty Under 40 honoree.
Pinyopusarerk is ushering in a new era of energy an optimistic and energetic outlook, maintaining that current industry leaders need to communicate with the new generation workforce in order to create a thriving energy future.
Throughout each of her roles within the oil and gas sector at Carrizo Oil & Gas and Energy XXI, she has learned to put her trust in the industry – and the industry has rewarded her for it.
“The industry has given so much to me,” Pinyopusarerk said. “It’s taken me in different career paths and given me a life I never dreamed of. I know that if I continue giving back to my profession and my industry, it’ll take care of me.”
When she’s not working, spending time with her family or going for a run, Pinyopusarerk can be found volunteering with the Trees for Houston and Children’s Assessment Center organizations, where she is a board member.
Pinyopusarerk graduated from Texas A&M University with a chemistry and math degree. Born and raised in Houston, she now lives in Sugar Land, Texas, with her husband, Chad, and their two young children.
