Description
In Daniels Run Field, Rice Drilling completed two more Marcellus Shale wells from a Washington County, Pa., pad in Section 2, Ellsworth 7.5 Quad, Somerset Township. The #501H111 Big Daddy Shaw was drilled to a total depth of 23,194 ft with a true vertical depth of 7,370 ft. It was tested after 73 stages of fracturing flowing 10.158 MMcf of gas per day from a perforated zone at 8,648-23,030 ft. The #501H113 Big Daddy Shaw was drilled to 24,342 ft, 7,343 ft true vertical. The venture initially flowed 28.265 MMcf of gas per day and was fractured in 72 stages. Production is from perforations between 10,060 and 24,201 ft.
