Drilling Activity Summary

Description

An Armour Energy Ltd. test at #3-Lamont Pass penetrated a continuous section of oil-bearing Barney Creek shale from 260-780 meters in the Glyde Sub-basin of the McArthur Basin In Northern Territories, Australia. According to Armour, the well continues to encounter bitumen, blooming, milky and streaming oil cuts and live oil in Barney Creek. Parts of the Glyde Sub-basin and Batten Trough underlie permit area EP190 and the associated oil-bearing Barney Creek shale source rock, along with Wollogorang and McDermott shale source rocks of the Tawallah Group that are also found in EP191 and EP192. The #3-Lamont Pass is testing multiple targets from a single vertical Lamont Pass well. The Lamont Pass structure is one of 23 of Armour's targeted areas holding 264 billion cu. ft. of mean, unrisked prospective resources within Coxco Dolomite. The Coxco conventional prospective resources have a mean prospective resource estimate of 18.8 trillion cu. ft. of unconventional resources assessed for Barney Creek shale. Brisbane-based Armour is the operator of EP190 and #3-Lamont Pass with 100% interest.
