Description
Norwest Energy NL completed seismic acquisition work for the Arrowsmith Field seismic survey. Processing and interpretation of the 3-D seismic data is underway. The on-ground survey was conducted at a 106 sq km area within exploration permit EP413. The survey objective is to assess the extent of the resource surrounding the existing #2-Arrowsmith and to define the optimal location and target formation for Norwest's first horizontal well, #3-Arrowsmith. Arrowsmith Field, according to DeGolyer and MacNaughton, has a contingent gross recoverable resource of 316 Bcf gas and a prospective gross recoverable resource of 2.6 Tcf of gas. Norwest's headquarters are in Perth.
