Drilling Activity Summary

Description

According to Australian Worldwide Exploration, the company will not proceed with the second phase of exploration well #1-Drover in Western Australia's Perth Basin exploration permit 455. Results from the diagnostic fracture injection test and analysis of the core samples and wireline data provide sufficient information for its assessment of the shale gas potential in the southern extent of its Perth Basin acreage. The well will not be hydraulically fractured and will be shut in. The #1-Drover was drilled on pastoral land in the Shire of Coorow and was designed to test the unconventional gas potential in the far southern extent of the Perth-based company's Perth Basin acreage. The joint venture partners have applied to renew the exploration permit 455 and are waiting on regulatory approval. Australian Worldwide Exploration is the operator of EP455 and #1-Drover with 81.% interest in partnership with Titan Energy, holding the remaining 18.5%.
