Description
In DeWitt County (RRC Dist. 2), Texas, Enduring Resources LLC reported an Eagle Ford discovery. The #1 Keach Gas Unit 1 flowed 15.81 million cu. ft. of gas, 1,010 bbl. of 59.6-degree condensate and 120 bbl. of water per day through perforations at 14,276-17,941 ft. The horizontal wildcat was gauged on an 18/64-in. choke and the flowing and shut-in casing pressures were 6,575 psi and 7,265 psi, respectively, with a calculated absolute open flow of 76.87 million cu. ft. per day. The new producer was drilled to 18,023 ft. on a 694-acre lease in Section 31, I RR Co Survey, A-253. The Denver-based company has several other horizontal locations staked in the area.
