Cabot Oil & Gas announced results from three Marcellus Shale discoveries drilled from a Hartford Township pad in Susquehanna, Pa. The #3 Chambers O was drilled to a total depth of 12,758 ft with a true vertical depth of 7,201 ft It was tested flowing 6 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 7,616-12,687 ft after 23 stages of fracture stimulation. The #4 Chambers O was drilled to 14,064 ft, 7,094 ft true vertical. It initially flowed 12 MMcf of gas per day after 29-stage fracturing. Production is from perforations at 7,593-13,978 ft. The #9 Chambers O has a total depth of 15,396 ft and a true vertical depth of 7,216 ft. It flowed 10.4 MMcf of gas per day after 31 stages of fracturing and production is from a perforated zone at 8,501-15,326 ft. Cabot’s headquarters are in Houston.
