Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Southwestern Production Co. completed two more Marcellus Shale wells in Pennsylvania’s Tioga County at the company’s Connolly prospect. The new field discoveries were drilled from a pad in Section 2, Nauvoo 7.5 Quad, Liberty Township. The #2H Connolly B was drilled to 14,732 ft with a true vertical depth of 7,058 ft. In initially flowed 20.61 MMcf of gas per day after 37 stages of fracture stimulation. Gauged on an unreported choke sixe, the shut-in casing pressure was 3,231 psi. Production is from a perforated zone at 7,244-14,658 ft. The #7H Connolly B has a total depth of 13,519 ft and a true vertical depth of 7.028 ft. It produced 22.56 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 7,474-14,442 ft after 35-stage fracturing. The shut-in casing pressure was 3,151 psi.
