Summit Petroleum announced results from an Upper Wolfcamp discovery in Upton County (RRC Dist. 7C), Texas. The Spraberry Field well, #4WB Racheal 2, initially flowed 1,231 bbl of 39° API oil and 1.202 MMcf of gas per day. The venture is located in CCSD&RGNG RR Co. Survey, A-29 and it was drilled to 19,314 ft, 9,270 ft true vertical. Production is from perforations at 9,128-19,188 ft. It was tested on a 34/64-inch choke and the casing pressure was 840 psi. Summit is based in Midland, Texas.
