Wentworth Resources Ltd. appointed Lance Mierendorf to the position of chief financial officer (CFO) effective immediately.
Geoff Bury, who was both managing director and acting CFO, will continue in the role of managing director.
Mierendorf is a Canadian chartered accountant and has worked in the international oil and gas environment for over 15 years. Prior to joining Wentworth, he was CFO of Sonoro Energy Ltd. Prior to that, he was corporate controller for Buried Hill Energy. Previously, he was Middle East finance manager for Anadarko Petroleum Corp. based in Doha, Qatar.
