The former Bering Exploration Inc. changed its name to Breitling Energy Corp. (OTC: BECC) and received an updated stock trading ticker symbol, “BECC” for its common stock, the company said Jan. 22.
The name change and receipt of the stock symbol end the asset purchase agreement, announced Dec. 9, 2013, between Bering Exploration and Breitling Oil and Gas Corp., the company said.
"This is an exciting day for Breitling, taking the company we founded in 2004 public and offering shares on the OTC market," said Chris Faulkner, president and CEO.
"After a decade of successful growth, we're proud to mark this new chapter of the Company and look forward to what the next decade holds for Breitling as we prepare to uplist to a big board," he added.
Breitling Energy trades over-the-counter.
