As the West Regional Director, Clay Hebert is responsible for H&P’s largest U.S. land operations. With more than 1,800 employees based out of Odessa, Texas, Hebert is focused on the health, safety and operational excellence from the employees he leads. Staying focused and constantly asking why, he progressed by remaining hungry, humble and smart. His second-generation knowledge and first-hand experience has helped lead cross-functional teams across a multitude of plays and operations including the Eagle Ford, SCOOP/STACK, Bakken, Niobrara and both basins within the Permian. Hebert remains focused on empowered execution of teams through clear communication and goals to create safe and efficient operations. He has pioneered and excelled at unique and new performance-based contracts along with technology developments that have led the drilling industry.
