Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Anschutz Exploration Corp. has reported results from two horizontal exploratory tests as Niobrara producers in the Powder River Basin. The wells were drilled from a drillpad in Section 33-36n-71w in Converse County, Wyo. The #3671-33-28-3W NH Kramer-Federal produced 639 bbl of 37-degree-gravity oil, 593 Mcf of gas and 650 bbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral in Niobrara A that was drilled to the northwest to 20,605 ft (11,308 ft true vertical) at a bottom-hole location in Section 28-36n-71w. It was tested on an 18/64-in, choke after a 29-stage fracturing between 11,466 and 20,275 ft. The #3671-33-28-3E NH Kramer-Federal initially flowed 335 bbl of 37-degree-gravity oil, 307 Mcf of gas and 2.857 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral in Niobrara B that was drilled to the north to 20,555 ft (11,206 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 28-36n-71w. It was tested on an 18/64-in. choke after 29-stage fracturing between 11,600 and 20,323 ft.
