Description
Ironroc Energy reported results from an Austin Chalk discovery in Fayette County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas. The #4H Gonzo B is in Giddings Field. It was tested flowing 694 bbl of 40.7° API oil, 651,000 cu ft of gas and 923 bbl of water per day. The venture was drilled in Nicholas C Taylor Survey, A-306, to a total depth of 18,463 ft and a true vertical depth of 10,354 ft. Gauged on a 64/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 209 psi, and the shut-in casing pressure was 1,025 psi. Production is from fractured treated perforations at 10,140-18,445 ft. Ironroc’s headquarters are in Houston.
