Continental Resources Inc. announced results from a Middle Bakken discovery in McKenzie County, N.D. The Banks Field completion, #8-7H Uhlman Federal is in Section 7-152n-99w. It was drilled to a total depth of 20,875 with a true vertical depth of 10,966 ft. It produced 1,523 bbl of 45° API oil, 1.764 MMcf of gas and 1,158 bbl of water per day after 40-stage fracturing. Gauged on a 42/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,361 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 383 psi. Production is from perforations at 11,290-20,862 ft.
