Beach Energy is drilling exploration well #1-Louth in PRL 102 in the South Australia’s Cooper Basin. The venture is designed to test the gas/condensate potential of Patchawarra. Patchawarra targets have been successfully tested at the Mokami and Udacha gas/condensate fields, which are within 10 km to the southeast of #1-Louth. The venture has a proposed depth of 2,671 m. Operator Beach Energy is based in Adelaide and holds a 75% stake in the venture along with 25%-owner Cooper Energy in PEL 92.
