Description
A Bossier Parish, La., Cotton Valley well was completed by Empresa Energy LLC in Benton Field. The #1 Wyche 18-7H flowed 2.932 MMcf of gas, 453 bbl of 41-degree-gravity crude and 1.956 Mbbl of water per day from fracture-treated perforations at 9,350-14,180 ft. The horizontal well was drilled to 14,290 ft, 9,060 ft true vertical, and is in Section 18-20n-12w. It bottomed 1 mile to the north in Section 7. Tested on a 52/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 630 psi. Empresa’s headquarters are in Houston.
