Drilling Activity Summary

Description

BNK Petroleum Inc. completed #1-B Gapowo on its Bytow Block in Poland's Baltic Basin Indiana Concession. According to the company, excellent gas readings were regularly recorded throughout the lateral. The venture targeted overpressured, gas-charged, organic-rich Lower Silurian and Ordovician shales that were originally encountered in the vertical portion of #1-B Gapowo. The well has a 5,900 ft of lateral available for fracturing. Log and core data analysis and sustained elevated gas shows in the lateral indicate that the Lower Silurian and Ordovician shales are highly prospective for gas. The analysis also indicated that the shale characteristics are likely to extend over a significant portion of its Baltic Basin acreage. The Camarillo, Calif.-based company controls about 285,000 net acres in the region. BNK is the operator of the Indiana Concessions and #1-B Gapowo with 100% interest.
