Encana Corp. completed a Bossier well in Hilltop Resort Field in Leon County (RRC Dist. 5), Texas. The #1 Senator Ranch B Unit was tested flowing 21.1 million cu. ft. of gas and 120 bbl. of water per day through fracture-treated perforations at 17,112-73 ft. Located on a 549-acre lease in the SA&MG RR Co Survey, A-838, the directional well was drilled to 17,508 ft. The flowing and shut-in casing pressures were gauged at 13,000 psi and 13,175 psi, respectively. Log tops include James Lime at 10,365 ft., Travis Peak at 11,050 ft. and Cotton Valley at 15,350 ft.
