Description
A Cotton Valley test is planned by BP in Harrison County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas, along the western edge of Woodlawn Field. The #1H Whipkey Gas Unit is on a 680.8-acre lease in Section 124, Lindsey Micajah Survey, A-393. The development test is slated to bottom 1.25 miles to the northwest beneath Section 372, George W. Smith Survey, A-648 and the proposed depth is 15,500 ft. Woodlawn Southwest Field producers include #10 Hatley, a Cotton Valley well that was brought online in 2008. Through November 2013, the well has produced 203.6 million cu. ft. of gas and 1,437 bbl. of condensate. BP's headquarters are in London.
