Description

BP plans to drill at its Ironbark Prospect in Western Australia’s Carnarvon Basin in the North West Shelf area in Blocks WA-359-P and WA-409-P. The prospect was acquired via farm-in with Cue Energy Resources in 2016 for 80% operating interest, with Cue retaining the remaining 20%. Cue estimated Ironbark to hold approximately 15 Tcf in recoverable gas resources. Drilling is planned in the fourth quarter of 2017. BP is based in London.
