Description
Midland, Texas-based Caza Oil & Gas Inc. completed another horizontal Second Bone Spring producer on its West Copperline property in Lea County, N.M. The 15,000-ft #2H West Copperline 29 Federal is in Section 29-23s-34e. Under controlled flowback, the well was reportedly producing 1,177 bbl of oil and 1.13 MMcf of gas per day (1,366 bbl of oil equivalent) in mid-April. Tested on an adjustable 34/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,000 psi. The fractured interval is from 10,822 ft to 14,864 ft. The true vertical depth in the south-trending lateral is 10,565 ft.
