Drilling Activity Summary
Description
On Breton Sound Block 45, Century Exploration Inc. has tested a second zone at a gas well. The #2 State Lease 19391 flowed 4.68 million cu. ft. of gas and 402 bbl. of 43.3-degree-gravity crude per day through several sets of perforations in the Bigenerina humblei (Miocene) at 13,914-14,004 ft. Tested on a 23/64-in. choke, flowing tubing pressure was at 5,775 psi and shut-in tubing pressure was 8,010 psi. The Louisiana state waters well was drilled to a total depth of 15,020 ft. Century Exploration has had an active drilling program on Breton Sound Block 45, completing several wells from roughly the same surface location as its latest venture.
