Drilling Activity Summary

Description

A horizontal completion by Chesapeake Operating Inc. of Oklahoma City initially flowed 5.93 million cu. ft. of gas per day. The #2-11H3 Billy 7-8 is in Section 11-7n-8w, White County, Ark., and was tested at 5,950-12,454 ft. in Fayetteville after a 14-stage fracture stimulation. The shut-in tubing pressure was 1,505 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,054 psi on a 32/64-in. choke; the absolute open flow was calculated at 11.6 million cu. ft. of gas per day. The 12,558-ft. eastern Arkoma Basin venture was drilled with a northwest lateral extending to a bottomhole location in Section 3-7n-3w. The true vertical depth is 5,350 ft. and is offset to the west by Chesapeake's #3-11H10 Billy 7-8, which was completed in February 2010 at an initial flowing potential of 5.99 million cu. ft. of gas daily, gauged on a 40/64-in. choke. Production comes from a fractured horizontal interval of Fayetteville at 5,898-10,378 ft. The measured and true vertical depths are 10,513 ft. and 5,372 ft., respectively.
