Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Two horizontal Des Moines Granite Wash wells were completed by Chesapeake Operating Inc. The Washita County, Okla., producer, #1-23H William, is in Section 23-11n-18w and had an initial flowing potential of 7.63 million cu. ft. of gas, 502 bbl. of 53-gravity condensate and 480 bbl. of water per day. It was perforated and fracture stimulated in Granite Wash between 12,900 and 17,075 ft. and tested on a 17/64-in. choke with 4,461-psi flowing casing pressure. Drilled to 17,187 ft., the true vertical depth is 12,695 ft. At #1-18H Melvin, gas flowed at an initial rate of 6.16 million cu. ft. per day, with 299 bbl. of 53-gravity condensate and 441 bbl. of water per day. Drilled in Section 18-11n-18w, the well produced from Des Moines Granite Wash at 13,012-16,851 ft. after fracture stimulation. The shut-in casing pressure was 3,750 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 4,248 psi on a 20/64-in. choke. The Breathwaite Field well was drilled to 16,921 ft. measured depth and the true vertical depth is 12,629 ft.
