Description
Two Marcellus Shale completions in Susquehanna County, Pa., were announced by Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Operating Inc. The discoveries were drilled from a pad in Section 1 Auburn Center 7.5 Quad, Auburn Township. The #105HC Gregerson was drilled to 11,106 ft, 6,748 ft true vertical and produced 29.975 MMcf of gas from perforations at 6,991-11,086 ft after 17-stage fracturing. The #101H Gregerson was drilled to 12,499 6,561 ft true vertical, and produced 26.668 MMcf of gas from perforations at 7,354-12,479 ft after 21-stage fracturing.
