Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Operating Inc. announced results from three Wyoming County, Pa., Marcellus Shale horizontal discoveries. The wells were drilled from a pad in Braintrim Township. The #21HC Franclaire was drilled to 18,139 ft, 7,169 ft true vertical. It was tested flowing 31.554 MMcf of gas per day after 62 stages of fracture stimulation. Production is from a perforated zone at 7,357-18,091 ft. The #22HC Franclaire was drilled to 19,224 ft and the true vertical depth is 7,246 ft. It initially flowed 31.86 MMcf of gas per day. Production is from perforations at 7,536-19,210 ft after 66-stage fracturing. The #23HC Franclaire has a total depth of 19,848 ft and a true vertical depth of 7,271 ft. It was tested flowing 31.436 MMcf of gas per day after 65 stages of fracturing from a perforated zone at 7,974-19,826 ft.
