Description
PTTEP Exploration & Production has found commercially proven gas reserves in Block M9 in the Zawtika Project in offshore Myanmar’s Mottama Gulf in the Andaman Sea. According to the company, #24-Zawtika successfully proved commercial hydrocarbon reserves with 152 m of net gas sands, more than the expected 41 m, with the latest discovery to prolong Zawtika’s gas production. PTTEP holds 80% interest in partnership with Myanmar’s national company, Myanma Oil & Gas Enterprise, holding the remaining 20%. PTTEP is based in Bangkok.
