Drilling Activity Summary

Description

San Leon Energy Plc reported a conventional oil find in an area of western Poland that was abandoned decades earlier by the country's state-controlled oil and gas company. The #1SL-Lelechow is the first of a two-well exploration program on the Nowa Sol Concession. The company will begin testing to determine daily crude production. San Leon plans to install a submersible pump to clean out the well and maximize oil flow rates during production. Initial evaluation of core and wireline logging results indicate the primary target in Zechstein Main Dolomite is highly fractured and contains moveable oil. The Southern Permian Basin well was drilled to 1,167 meters. The London-based company is now preparing to move the rig to #1SL-Czaslaw, the second well in the Nowa Sol Concession, which will also test the Main Dolomite.
