Description
In South Australia's Cooper Basin, Beach Energy completed testing at exploration well #1-Udacha in Udacha license (PRL26). The well was fracture stimulated and a flowtest was performed and the well flowed at a stabilized of 1.7 MMcf of gas per day. It was tested on a 24/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 650 psi. The Udacha Joint Venture partners are assessing plans connect the discovery to the nearby Middleton production facility. Adelaide-based Beach is the operator of PRL26 and #1-Udacha with 15% interest in partnership with Drillsearch Energy, holding 75%, and Rawson with 10%.
