Beach Energy announced results from two Queensland ATP855 permit area discoveries in the Cooper-Eromanga Basin. The #1-Geoffrey is currently producing 700 Mcf/d of gas. It was fracture-stimulated over five stages, four in Patchawarra and one in Epsilon. According to the company, production is increasing as stimulation fluid is brought to the surface. At #1-Redland, fracturing is underway over three stages in Toolachee and results are not yet available. Beach Energy is the operator of ATP855 and #1-Geoffrey, and #1-Redland with 46.9% interest in partnership with Icon Energy, holding 35.1%, and Chevron, with the remaining 18.0%.
