A Jasper County, Miss., Cotton Valley discovery was announced by Roundtree & Associates Inc. in Stringer Field. The #1 Viersen 29-13 was tested flowing 256 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil and 166 Mcf of gas per day from perforations at 14,880-14,973 ft. the vertical well was drilled to 15,280 ft and is in Section 29-1n-1e. It was tested on a 10/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 1,214 psi. Roundtree & Associates is based in Jackson, Miss.
