Description
Mosbacher Energy Co. has completed an Upper Cotton Valley well in Covington County, Miss. The Collins Creek Field discovery, #3 Plum Creek, was tested flowing 175 bbl of oil and 2 bbl of water per day from perforations at 18,228-18,554 ft. It was tested on a 24/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 30 psi. The 18,723-ft well was vertically drilled in Section 29-8n-14w. Mosbacher's headquarters are in Houston.
