Description
A Petrochem Operating Co. well, #1-Alt Hart 11, was tested flowing 1.98 million cu. ft. of gas and 780 bbl. of water per day through fracture-treated perforations between 9,302 and 9,406 ft. The Lower Cotton Valley well is in Swan Lake Field in the southern portion of Bossier Parish, La. On a 20/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,900 psi. The new producer was drilled to a total depth of 9,724 ft. in Section 11- 15n-11w. Petrochem, based in Shreveport, has another Cotton Valley test, #3 Johnson, in the area. According to IHS Inc., that well had been production- and flow-tested through fracture-treated perforations below 9,200 ft. at 2.24 million cu. ft. of gas and 910 bbl. of load water per day.
