Description
In Union County, Ark., Quanico Oil & Gas has completed a Cotton Valley well that flowed 60 bbl. of 48-degree-gravity crude through perforations at 5,560-66 ft. The #1-A Trull was drilled to 5,858-ft. in Section 27-18s-14w in Olin Forest Field. Nearby Cotton Valley recovery is one-half mile north of #1-A Trull: #1 Terrell Estate in Section 27 was drilled in 1988 to 7,340 ft. and was tested through perforations at 5,026-34 ft. The initial daily potential was 72 bbl. of 36.5-degree-gravity crude. Onstream for just four months, the well recovered 1,368 bbl. of oil, 2.6 million cu. ft. of casinghead gas and 1,062 bbl. of water as a part of Olin Forest North Field. Quanico's headquarters are in El Dorado, Ark.
