Description
Sonerra Resources Corp. of Nacogdoches, Texas, completed a Cotton Valley producer in Nacogdoches County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas. The #1 Big Moon was tested flowing 300,000 cu. ft. of gas, 2 bbl. of 45-degree condensate and 365 bbl. of water per day through fracture-treated perforations at 11,506-12,139 ft. The new producer is on a 667-acre lease in Jose Antonio Chirino Survey, A-17. The vertical wildcat was drilled to 12,700 ft. On a 21/64-in. choke, flowing and shut-in casing pressures were gauged at 165 and 490 psi, respectively.
