In Clarke County, Miss., Spooner Petroleum Co. plans to drill an 8,300-ft Cotton Valley wildcat at #1 Wabac Unit. It will be in Section 34-4n-18e. In 2014, Sandalwood Exploration permitted an offsetting Cotton Valley wildcat, which was also named #1 Wabac but the 7,600-ft test was never drilled. Spooner’s headquarters are in Ridgeland, Miss.
