Cue Energy Resources Ltd. reported elevated gas readings at exploration well #1-Paus Biru in offshore Indonesia’s Sampang PSC. The well was drilled to 710 m and gas readings were encountered in the targeted Mundu. Additional testing, including pressure and fluid sampling, are planned to establish the fluid content, hydrocarbon columns and saturation of possible reservoir intervals encountered.
