Description
IHS reported that BP Plc completed a Des Moines Granite Wash producer in the western Anadarko Basin. The #6038H Smith is in Section 38, Block M-1, H&GN Survey, A-820 in Hemphill County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The well was tested on a 24/64-in. choke flowing 6.09 MMcf of gas, 205 bbl of 53-degre-gravity condensate and 25 bbl of water per day. The 16,206-ft discovery was drilled north across the section, perforated and fracture-stimulated in 12 stages at 11,960-16,016 ft. The true vertical depth is 11,684 ft. BP's headquarters are in London.
