Description
A Des Moines Granite Wash completion in Wheeler County, (RRC Dist. 10) Texas, was announced by Chesapeake Operating Inc. The #3H Zybach 15 is in Section 15, Block RE, Roberts & Eddleman Survey, A-502. Tested on a 64/64-in. choke, the producer flowed 13.7 million cu. ft. of gas, 385 bbl. of 51-gravity condensate and 572 bbl. of water per day. The well was drilled to 16,312-ft., 11,685 ft. true vertical and was tested in a horizontal interval of the Des Moines Granite Wash between 11,776 and 16,183 ft. Following a multi-stage fracturing, the shut-in casing pressure was 2,132 psi and a flowing casing pressure was 1,148 psi. The western Anadarko Basin venture was drilled northward almost 4,700 ft. across the section.
