Description
Oklahoma City-based Linn Energy has completed a high-volume Des Moines Granite Wash horizontal producer in the western Anadarko Basin. The #7H Reed 31SL is in Section 31, Block A-3, H&GN Survey, A-210, Wheeler County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The completion flowed 8.42 million cu. ft. of gas with 1,683 bbl. of 55-degree-gravity condensate and 2,390 bbl. of water. Production comes from a lateral at 12,465-15,971 ft. that was acidized and fracture-stimulated in 12 stages. Tested on a 64/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 660 psi. The Frye Ranch Field prospect was drilled to 16,220 ft., 11,575 ft. true vertical.
