An Anadarko Basin-Des Moines granite wash horizontal discovery was announced by Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Operating Inc. The #2H 3-10-26 McEntire is in Section 3-10n-26w of Beckham County, Okla. The well initially flowed 6.16 million cu. ft. of gas, 601 bbl. of 54-degree-gravity condensate and 805 bbl. of water per day. Production is from a lateral between 12,568 and 16,859 ft. The 17,208-ft. Mayfield West Field venture has a true vertical depth of 12,506 ft. Gauged on a 20/64-in. choke, the shut-in tubing pressure was 3,136 psi and flowing tubing pressure was 3,119 psi.
