Description
Muskegon Development Co. is drilling a Dundee Lime test in Michigan’s Prosper South Field. According to IHS Markit, the Missaukee County venture, #1-1 Camp Buckeye, is a 4,075-ft directional test being drilled in Section 1-21n-6w. A successful oil completion would extend Prosper South Field about 1 mile to the southeast. Nearby drilling is within one-half mile to the northeast at a Prosper South Field test drilled in 1967 at #1-A Bonner Lyman, which was abandoned at 3,870 ft. First production from Prosper South Field was reported in 1967. Wells in the reservoir produce crude from Dundee Lime at around 3,700-3,800 ft. All of the field’s wells were drilled in the late 1960s. Muskegon Development is based in Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
