BPX Operating Co. completed an Eagle Ford Shale discovery that produced 2,624 bbl of 45° API oil, 2.015 MMcf of gas and 3,180 bbl of water per day. The #8H Lonesome Dove A is in Karnes County (RRC Dist. 2), Texas, in Ramon Musquiz Survey A-7. The well was drilled to 18,469 ft with a true vertical depth of 11,525 ft, and production is from fractured perforations between 12,275 ft and 18,184 ft. Gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 2,380 psi. BPX is a subsidiary of BP Plc.
