Encana Corp., Calgary, flow-tested #5 Laxson at 33.8 million cu. ft. of gas and 162 bbl. of water per day. The new producer is in East Texas' Robertson County (RRC Dist. 5). The Bossier completion is part of John Amoruso Field. Fracture-treated perforations were between 15,416 and 15,691 ft. Flowing and shut-in tubing pressures were gauged at 3,200 psi and 8,515 psi, respectively, on a 32/64-in. choke. Absolute open flow was calculated at more than 39.49 million cu. ft. per day for the 15,950-ft. well. Located on a 704-acre lease in the Pedro Jose Pereire Survey, A-32, log tops for the well were reported by Encana as Upper Austin Chalk at 5,778 ft., Pettet at 10,224
