In Section 8-9n-3w in Yazoo County, Miss., EOG Resources Inc. completed a Cotton Valley well as part of Mechanicsburg Field. The #1 Woods 8-10 had an initial daily potential of 4.48 million cu. ft. per day, 85 bbl. of 59.2-degree condensate and 416 bbl. of water daily after acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 12,229-12,860 ft. The producer was drilled to 12,990 ft. and plugged back at 12,944 ft. The flowing casing pressure was 1,250 psi on a 27/64-in. choke. EOG has permitted several Cotton Valley tests in the area, including #1 Ashley 8-3, #1 Webster 7-1 and #1 Hornback 5-13.
