Description
EOG Resources Inc. has completed an extended-lateral Eagleville field well in eastern Atascosa County (RRC Dist. 1). The #1H Indigo A was tested flowing 1.724 Mbbl of 31-degree-gravity crude, 345 Mcf of gas and 2.565 Mbbl of water per day through acid- and fracture-treated Eagle Ford Shale perforations at 9335-20,034 ft. Flowing tubing pressure was 734 psi on a 48/64-in. choke. The horizontal oil well was drilled to a total depth of 20,117 ft (9,407 ft true vertical) from a surface location on a 1,094-acre Southwest Texas lease in Section 229, John K. Lyle Survey, A-541. EOG’s well bottomed 2 miles to the southeast beneath Section 194, E.G. Vining Survey, A-1484.
