Description
An extended-lateral oil well in eastern Billings County, N.D., was reported by Oklahoma City-based Continental Resources Inc. The St. Demetrius Field well, #3-27H1 Burian, was completed in an unreported Three Forks zone following acidizing and fracturing. According to IHS Markit, well production during four days in March/April totaled 320 bbl of crude, 96,000 cu ft of gas and 4,181 bbl of crude. The total depth is 20,720 ft (10,712 ft true vertical). It was drilled in Section 27-141n-99w and bottomed 2 miles to the south in Section 34. Additional completion information is not currently available.
