Description
Merit Energy Co. announced results from a Fayetteville Shale completion in in the Faulkner County, Ark., portion of the Arkoma Basin. According to IHS Markit, the Dallas-based company re-entered #1-10H Keathley A 7-11 in Section 10-7n-11w and acid- treated a horizontal interval of the Lower Fayetteville at 7,050-11,595 ft and returned the well to production at a rate of 241 Mcf of gas per day. The B-43 Field venture was originally completed in 2010 flowing 3.39 MMcf of gas per day after 10-stage acidizing and fracturing produced 2.15 Bcf prior to the workover. The well was drilled diagonally northwest across the section to 11,701 ft, 5,953 ft true vertical.
