Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Four horizontal Wolfcamp wells were completed at a Phantom Field pad in Winkler County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, by Denver-based Felix Energy. The #1H Mosquito 1108-74 W pumped 1.307 Mbbl of 42.5-degree-gravity oil, 3.05 MMcf of gas and 2.21 Mbbl of water daily from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 12,594-22,646 ft. The flowing tubing pressure was 1320 psi during on a 39/64-in. choke. It was drilled to 22,802 ft (12,382 ft true vertical) and is in Section 11, Block 74, PSL Survey, A-1379. It bottomed about 2 miles to the northwest in Section 8. From an offsetting surface location, #1H Chihuahua 2629-74 W flowed 1.146 Mbbl of 42.5-degree-gravity crude, 2.15 MMcf of gas and 2.14 Mbbl of water per day. Acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations are at 12,625-22,700 ft in a 2-mile, southeast-trending lateral. Drilled to 22,800 ft (12,499 ft true vertical) it bottomed in Section 29. In two adjacent sections, #1H Rainbow Trail 2710-74 W flowed 1.103 Mbbl of oil, 2.305MMcf of gas and 3.77 Mbbl of water daily from perforations at 12,854-22,856 ft and was drilled to 22,960 ft (12,496 ft true vertical). The parallel #1H Rainbow Trail 2710-74 E was tested flowing 1.123 Mbbl of crude, 2.474 MMcf of gas and 3.12 Mbbl of water per day from a zone at 12,784-22,786 ft. It was drilled to 22,895 ft (12,582 ft rue vertical). Both Wolfcamp wells were acidized and fracture stimulated. The 2-mile laterals were drilled from surface locations in Section 27 and bottomed to the northwest in Section 10. [Editor's note: Felix Energy was acquired by WPX Energy in a transaction that closed March 2020.]
